Toyota Venza: Dtc Check / Clear

DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(d) Turn the Techstream on.

(e) Read the DTCs following the display on the Techstream. Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Trouble Codes.

(f) Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for DTC information (See page ).


2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(d) Turn the Techstream on.

(e) Clear the DTCs following the display on the Techstream. Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Trouble Codes.

(f) According to the display on the Techstream, select the trouble code data display with the clear button.

(g) Turn the ignition switch off.

(h) Disconnect the Techstream from the DLC3.
