Toyota Venza: Dtc Check / Clear

DTC CHECK / CLEAR

HINT:

Use the Techstream to read and clear the DTC of the occupant classification ECU, otherwise the DTCs cannot be read and cleared.

1. DTC CHECK

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Trouble Code.

(e) Check the DTCs by following the prompts on the Techstream screen.

HINT:

Refer to the Techstream operator's manual for further details.

2. DTC CLEAR

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Trouble Code.

(e) Clear the DTCs by following the prompts on the Techstream screen.
