BASIC INSPECTION
When the malfunction is not confirmed by the DTC check, troubleshooting should be carried out in all circuits considered to be possible causes of the problem. In many cases, by carrying out the basic engine check shown in the following procedure, the location of the problem can be found quickly and efficiently. Therefore, using this check is essential when engine troubleshooting.
1. 1.CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE
NOTICE:
Carry out this check with the engine stopped and the ignition switch off.

Throttle Actuator Control Throttle Body Range / Performance (P2119)
DESCRIPTION
The electronic throttle control system is composed of the throttle actuator,
throttle position sensor, accelerator pedal position sensor, and ECM. The ECM operates
the throttle actuator to regulate the throttle valve in response to driver inpu ...
Throttle / Pedal Position Sensor "A" Minimum Stop Performance (P2109)
DESCRIPTION
The idle speed is controlled by the Electronic Throttle Control System (ETCS).
The ETCS is comprised of a throttle actuator, which operates the throttle valve,
and a throttle position sensor, which detects the opening amount of the throttle
