Toyota Venza: How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

  • Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the tire pressure warning system.
  • *: Use the Techstream.

CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS

(a) Interview the customer to confirm the problem.

HINT:

It is important to collect as much specific information as possible from the customer to allow for a quick repair.

ADJUST TIRE PRESSURE*

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.

(e) Read the "ID Tire Inflation Pressure" values.

(f) Set all tire pressures to the specified value(s) (See page ).


(g) Check the Data List (See page ).


HINT:

  • It takes about 2 or 3 minutes to display the updated tire pressure data.
  • If the problem that caused the tire pressure warning light to come on was low tire pressure, wait until all of the tire pressure data is updated in the ECU.When the data is updated, the tire pressure warning light will go off.
