DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the roof antenna assembly which is connected to the stereo component tuner assembly.

A short occurs in the roof antenna assembly

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

After replacing the stereo component tuner assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, XM radio ID registration is necessary.

PROCEDURE

1.

REPLACE ROOF ANTENNA POLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Check that roof antenna pole sub-assembly is securely installed (See page ).


(b) Clear the DTCs (See page ).


(c) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

2.

REPLACE NAVIGATION WIRE

(a) Replace the navigation wire with a new or known good one (See page ).


(b) Clear the DTCs (See page ).


(c) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

REPLACE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the antenna cord sub-assembly with a new or known good one (See page ).


(b) Clear the DTCs (See page ).


(c) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

REPLACE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly with a new or known good one (See page ).


(b) Clear the DTCs (See page ).


(c) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

REPLACE NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly with a new or known good one (See page ).


(b) Clear the DTCs (See page ).


(c) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

REPLACE SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the satellite radio antenna assembly with a new or known good one (See page ).


(b) Clear the DTCs (See page ).


(c) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
