Toyota Venza: System Description

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

1. GENERAL

The windshield deicer system's thin heater wires are attached to the inside of the front window and deice the window surface quickly. The indicator light illuminates while the system is operating. The system automatically turns off after approximately 15 minutes.

HINT:

  • The windshield deicer is linked with the window defogger and mirror heater.

2. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENT

DEICER Relay

Receives front deicer activation request signals from the air conditioning amplifier assembly and supplies power to front window deicer.

Windshield Deicer Wire

Receives power from DEICER relay and heats the windshield deicer wire.
