Toyota Venza: Customize Parameters

CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS

HINT:

The following items can be customized.

NOTICE:

  • After confirming whether the items requested by the customer are applicable or not for customization, perform customizing operations.
  • Be sure to record the current settings before customization.
  • When troubleshooting, make sure that the item in question is not set to "OFF" as a result of customization (Example: For the system, "the wireless function does not operate", first check that the wireless function is not set to "OFF", then perform troubleshooting).

1. CUSTOMIZE

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Customize Setting.

(e) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

Function that operates the power back door by pushing the transmitter switch.

PBD SW Operation

Function that turns the power back door closer switch on when a switch is pushed once or held down for 0.8 sec. .

PBD Buzzer*1

OFF

This function makes the power back door buzzer sound when the power back door is operating.

OFF or ON

  • *1:The warning buzzer that sounds when the power back door is operating cannot be customized. (Even if this function is set to "off", the buzzer will still sound.)
  • *2: Default setting differs depending on the country
