This DTC is output when the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) has not been initialized.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

  • When DTC B2342 and B2343 are output simultaneously, perform troubleshooting for DTC B2342 first.
  • When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) is replaced or removed and reinstalled, it requires initialization (See page ).

PROCEDURE

1.

INITIALIZE SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY)

(a) Check that the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) can be initialized (See page ).


OK:

Sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) can be initialized.


NG

REPLACE SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY)


OK

2.

CHECK SLIDING ROOF OPERATION

(a) Check the sliding roof auto operation (See page ).


OK:

Auto operation operates normally.


NG

REPLACE SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY)


OK

3.

CHECK DTC OUTPUT

(a) Clear the DTC (See page ).


(b) Recheck for DTCs.

OK:

DTC B2343 is not output.
