DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) cannot be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen.

HINT:

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the items for the following systems that are customizable via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen:
  • Power door lock control system
  • Wireless door lock control system
  • Lighting system (for Interior)
  • Lighting system (for Exterior)

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally (See page ).


OK:

CAN communication DTCs are not output.


NG

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


OK

2.

CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

(a) Check if the power door lock control system is malfunctioning (See page ).


HINT:

Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the power door lock control system.

OK:

No malfunctions are present in the power door lock control system.

GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

3.

CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

(a) Check if the wireless door lock control system is malfunctioning (See page with Smart Key System,
without Smart Key System).


HINT:

Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the wireless door lock control system.

OK:

No malfunctions are present in the wireless door lock control system.

CHECK LIGHTING SYSTEM (for Exterior)

(a) Check if the lighting system (for Exterior) is malfunctioning (See page ).

No malfunctions are present in the lighting system (for Exterior).

6.

CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS

(a) Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) related system.

HINT:

The items shown as customizable via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the Techstream. In the following steps, the Techstream will be used.

(1) To match-up the items on the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the power door lock control system related items that can be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen (See page ).


(2) To match-up the items on the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the wireless door lock control system related items that can be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen (See page with Smart Key System,
without Smart Key System).


(3) To match-up the items on the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (for Interior) related items that can be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen (See page ).


(4) To match-up the items on the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (for Exterior) related items that can be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen (See page ).


(b) Using the Techstream, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen.

OK:

The items available for customization via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen can be customized successfully using the Techstream.
