INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the cooler condenser assembly with the 4 bolts. Torque: 6.0 N·m {61 kgf·cm, 53 in·lbf} HINT: If the condenser is replaced with a new one, add compressor oil to the new condenser. Capacity: 40 cc (1.35 fl.oz.) Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent |

2. CONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the tube and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.
(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the tube joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(c) Install the O-ring on the air conditioning tube and accessory.
NOTICE:
Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surfaces clean from dirt or any foreign objects.
(d) Install the air conditioning tube and accessory on the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt. Torque: 9.8 N·m {100 kgf·cm, 87 in·lbf} |

3. CONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the pipe and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.
(b) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the pipe joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(c) Install the O-ring on the discharge hose.
NOTICE:
Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surfaces clean from dirt or any foreign objects.
(d) Install the discharge hose on the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt. Torque: 9.8 N·m {100 kgf·cm, 87 in·lbf} |

4. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT
5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the hood lock support sub-assembly with the 2 bolts. Torque: 12 N·m {122 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf} |

(b) Engage each clamp. |

6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Engine Hood Courtesy Switch)
7. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch)
8. INSTALL LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY
9. INSTALL HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY
10. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER
11. INSTALL BATTERY
12. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE
13. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH HOSE
14. INSTALL INLET NO. 2 AIR CLEANER
15. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE
16. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See page ).
18. CHARGE WITH REFRIGERANT
19. WARM UP ENGINE
20. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK
21. INSPECT HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
22. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
